I had a chance to review Sit Stretch Smile.
To say the least I love this concept.
Let me tell you why!
As I was checking out this book on Chair Yoga, It
really had my mind going.
My mom just had back surgery and she still has issues
with getting up and moving around.
She also suffers from Fibromyalgia.
As I was checking out this wonderful book and video I
started to think that this would be perfect for my mom
to start to try. Of course I would have her talk to her Physical Therapist
before she starts this but in the end I think this will be just what she needs.
I was also very interested in it because being I sit in a kitchen chair all day due
to not having a desk or desk chair that I myself might start to do this.
Then I found out it is good for better breathing which is a major with me! I have
asthma and since I have lived in California it is going crazy. So when I can
find something to help me move better or become more flexible
or breathe better it really catches my interest!
Dr. Howie Shareff , founder of You Call This Yoga,
came up with Chair yoga after life challenges and injuries.
He found out that when you do Chair Yoga you notice your posture more and it helps to improve your flexibility and reduces tension.
